For information on openings in specific areas, please search our current job listings. » Apply for a RN - New Graduate position now New graduates receive an individualized 3-to 6-month orientation. This orientation begins with a thorough assessment of clinical competencies within specific areas of nursing. We use the results of the assessment to create a customized department clinical orientation program designed to enhance your educational and professional experience at Memorial.
What’s required?Colorado requires licensure to practice professional nursing before you can begin your orientation. This includes the interim between notification that you have passed the NCLEX and the license posting on the Department of Regulatory Agency (DORA) web site. The best time to apply for a Graduate Nurse position is during the last semester of your senior year.
Salary structureThe majority of our new graduates begin on the 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. shift. The base pay rate is $23 per hour. There is a shift differential of $2.00 per hour from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and 15 percent of your base rate from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. We are not currently offering relocation, education loan repayment or a sign-on bonus. New graduates are not eligible for intermittent positions.
