Employment For New RN Graduates!If you have just graduated (or are soon to graduate) from nursing school, please consider joining our team at Memorial Health System! » Apply for a RN - New Graduate position now Our Acute Care Units (medical/surgical) hire new graduates on a monthly basis. We also occasionally hire new graduates for other specialty areas, including ED, ICU, Cardiac, Pediatrics, NICU, Perinatal, Orthopedics, Oncology, and RPCU. New graduates receive an individualized 3-to-6-month orientation. An online assessment is administered to all newly hired nurses during the orientation process. The assessment is used to create a customized department clinical orientation program to enhance the educational and professional experience at Memorial Health System. You must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Colorado before you can begin your orientation. This also applies to the 2 - 3 week interim between receiving passing NCLEX test results and the license posting on the Department of Regulatory Agency (DORA) web site. You may apply for the Graduate Nurse position before taking your nursing boards. Requirements also include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, clinical experience as part of recent nursing curriculum, and must pass NCLEX and present RN license before orientation. Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs). We are not currently offering relocation, education loan payback or sign-on bonus. Please be aware that new graduates are not eligible for intermittent positions and the majority of our new graduates begin on the 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. shift.
